Why Do Children Need Therapy?
Childhood is a time of growth and learning, and it can also bring anxiety, behavioral struggles, school stress, and family change. We offer a safe, supportive, and nurturing space where children explore their emotions and learn to understand and manage them.
Child therapy helps young people understand their emotions and the patterns behind their behavior, in a way that fits their age. Our work draws on psychodynamic therapy, play therapy, and creative expression, so children can share what they cannot yet put into words.

When a Child is Struggling
Children do not always have the words for what they feel, and it often shows up in behavior, sleep, school, or friendships instead.
Parents Often Reach Out When a Child is:
-> Anxious, clingy, or often worried
-> Avoiding school or dreading it
-> Acting out, shutting down, or easily overwhelmed
-> Struggling with friendships or self-esteem
-> Adjusting to divorce, loss, or a big change

Early support can make a meaningful difference in a child's emotional development and long-term well-being.
How We Help Children
-> Ease anxiety, worry, and school stress
-> Build language for big or confusing feelings
-> Support healthier behavior and self-esteem
-> Help children through divorce, loss, or change
-> Partner with parents on what helps at home
Our goal is a child who feels more understood and more at ease.

Supporting Emotional Growth and Resilience
Our therapists use psychodynamic therapy for children, exploring the emotions, experiences, and relationship patterns that may sit under a behavioral or emotional struggle. Play and creative expression give younger children a natural way to show what is going on.
